Overview
Between the High Atlas and the Sahara, Saghro feels like another world. Ancient lava has formed stone tables, needles and vast silent plateaus crossed mainly by herds and mule caravans.
The route leaves the road at Aït Youl and returns to it four walking days later. A guide, cook, muleteers and baggage animals support the group from start to finish.
